Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and payment transactions. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Assist with serving food and beverages to customers in a timely manner. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Participate in training sessions to improve skills related to food handling, safety, and customer service.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and handling within the food industry. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently manage tasks during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Previous restaurant experience is an advantage but not required. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. Skills in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
