Overview


We are seeking a friendly and motivated

Team Member

to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or restaurant operations is preferred but not required. Duties



Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, payment processing, and sales tracking. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation throughout all operations. Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations during busy periods.

Qualifications



Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is advantageous. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team. Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and inventory counts. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail. Time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed; a positive attitude is essential for success in this role.
