Responsibilities

Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders and payments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining spaces. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Experience

CPR and Food handlers certificates are a must. Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus. Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy setting. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety guidelines is essential.
