We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Team Member to join our dynamic food service team who must have a driving license and a car. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced restaurant environment, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position is essential in delivering a positive dining experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Duties
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs
Manage cashier responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Support team members during peak hours by multitasking between serving, cashiering, and food prep duties
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
