Job Description
Toyotetsu Canada Inc. (TTCA) is a Tier 1 Automotive Parts Supplier to Toyota Manufacturing Facilities located in the heart of Norfolk County. We utilize state of the art technology to ensure our automotive parts are assembled with a high degree of quality.
We are currently hiring contract Team Members. We have openings as Material Handlers, Robotic Welding Cell Operators and Stamping Press Off-Loaders. These positions start on a contract basis but have strong potential to lead to future full-time, permanent positions. Job Summary Shifts:
2 Shift (Days, Afternoons)
3 Shift (Days, Afternoons Midnights)
Bi-weekly rotation
8-10 hours shifts required.
Up to 40-60 hours / week
Contract Wage: $20.55
Job Duties:
Production related tasks including parts assembly, off-loading parts, and transferring parts. Operate machinery and equipment and assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers. Perform essential duties of the job required in a safe, proficient manner. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to work in a fast paced, physically demanding work environment. Repetitive work with some heavy lifting required. Manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination and standing for extended periods are required. Proficient reading, writing and numerical skills. Manufacturing experience preferred. Available to work rotating shifts. Physically fit for heavy lifting of up to 30 lbs.
