Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Previous restaurant experience and knowledge of food safety standards are preferred but not required. The position involves working in a lively environment where attention to detail, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to company standards and recipes, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer needs promptly. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle food safely by following sanitation and food handling guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation standards. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Assist with cashiering duties, including processing payments accurately and giving correct change. Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required. A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
