Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas to comply with food safety regulations. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages as needed. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service.
