Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions with proper cash handling procedures Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 44 per week
