Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly

Team Member

to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing food, managing transactions, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are maintained. Prior experience in food service, cashiering, or retail is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure your success.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and assisting guests with their needs. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining areas, and equipment, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while managing register operations. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed. Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment operation. Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth service during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafes, or retail grocery stores is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience in customer service roles demonstrating excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
