Job Overview

As an Insider, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operation within our food service environment. This position requires a blend of food preparation, customer interaction, and efficient handling of transactions. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately. Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Experience with serving and cashiering is a plus.
