As a Team Manager, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of your department and providing technical advice and supervision to the area you oversee such as Claims Call Centre, Record Management, Teleclaim Adjudication and Wage Rate Adjudication.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for ensuring that goals and key performance indicators are met through promoting and fostering continuing quality improvement and creating a supportive and responsive work environment with open communication and teamwork.

What you\'ll do

As a Team Manager, you will:

  • Manage daily operations, including leading and participating in the planning, implementation, and administration of all work activities to maintain optimum service levels.
  • Reviews and analyzes reports to identify opportunities to enhance service quality and timeliness.
  • Maintains expert knowledge of the overall claims process and CMS functionality related to claims intake processes.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert alongside divisional partners to inform IT solutions, innovation, and improvement programs.
  • Lead and motivate a team in providing excellent customer service.
  • Hire and orient employees, set performance goals, and mentor and coach employees in career development.
  • Foster a constructive labour relations environment within the department by dealing proactively with issues and fostering a positive environment.

Your experience and educational background:
  • Diploma and a minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Experience mentoring and supporting team members.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

The current position will report to Teleclaim Adjudication.

Depending on experience, this can be flexible with the other various departments within Claims Intake Services.
