Some of what you will do

As the Team Manager, Inside Sales, you are responsible for leading a group of 13/15 Inside sales professionals. Accountable for financial and non-financial business results through effective management and execution of assigned sales team. In partnership with the Sr. Sales Manager and Sr. Sales Team Manager, you are responsible to implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives. Accountable to achieve team performance exceeding budget through positive motivation, coaching and associate development. Specifically, You Will


\xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for achieving and exceeding business objectives in sales and productivity.
  • Responsible for new business opportunities through customer acquisition.
  • Supports and fosters an environment of risk taking and innovation to achieve and exceed results.
  • Builds business plan aligns team goals with business strategy and objectives.
  • Leverages and develops the sales capabilities of associates by using current selling techniques and company programs.
  • Leads, promotes and coaches selling and cultivates a culture of winning sales with associates.
  • Models, promotes, and holds others accountable for sales and customer service excellence.
  • Provides input regarding optimization of all programs. Analyzes processes in place and suggests improvements to maintain and grow sales. Acts/thinks not just within assigned group but the entire campaign.
  • Motivates and develops associates (through 1-1s, mentoring, coaching etc.); promotes quality development plan (Performance +). Motivates associates through positive meetings, communications, contests, etc. Develops a highly motivated and driven sales team that exceeds business objectives.
  • Manages the coordination and execution of their departments and maximizes productivity.
  • Directly accountable for the hiring and onboarding process in their departments; including identifying and organizing hiring needs and involvement in interviewing, selecting, and checking references.
  • In partnership with Sr. Sales Manager, develops internal associate succession plan to support business growth.
  • Establishes and implements a process for ongoing training and coaching in the department.
  • Takes ownership to ensure Performance Appraisals (PA\xe2\x80\x99s) are delivered in a timely manner and action plans are in place; follows up on development of associates.
  • Accountable for the performance management of direct reports including documentation.
  • Has a complete understanding of all company policies and procedures related to this position. Implements all policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Accountable to understand and communicate general company policies and provide guidance to staff as needed.
  • Uses all sources of communication to relay information (department meetings, white boards, bulletin boards, HUB, email etc.) and ensures associates understanding.
  • Identifies and communicates suggestions for improvements in all areas of business.
  • Delegate\xe2\x80\x99s responsibilities and holds others accountable to ensure the general cleanliness of workstations, according to company standards is maintained.
  • Promotes and maintains a safe working environment, follows all company protocols for safety and is required to take steps to rectify deficiencies.
Can utilize reporting tools; troubleshoots issues with contact management software \xe2\x80\x93 escalates as required
Resourceful when solving issues; uses proper channels and contacts within the company as required.
  • Called upon to represent the entire PCAM Inside Sales team on special projects to improve the program offering and tools, i.e., Website lead, Training lead, Credit lead, Logistics lead, Merchandising lead, Marketing lead, etc. Reports on duties as assigned in a timely manner.



Some of what you need



\xe2\x80\xa2 High school diploma or GED
  • College Diploma or University Degree with focus on Business, Communication or Call Centre Management an asset
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in sales environment
  • 1-3 years of Supervisory experience in Call Centre or outbound sales environment.
  • Proven history to attain budgetary numbers.
  • Strong communication and motivational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Demonstrated business acumen.
  • Ability to make decisions with integrity that supports company guidelines and makes good business sense.
  • Ability to resolve customer concerns in a diplomatic manner.
  • Ability to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Capacity to communicate with all stakeholders effectively using a variety of mediums.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize efficiently to effectively handle their daily responsibilities and serve our customers.
  • Ability to coach for results
  • Ability to work effectively with ongoing distractions is necessary.
  • Takes opportunities for self-development.
