Department Overview

The Wealth Operations team enable resources for operational needs across the Wealth business resulting in lower costs with excellent customer-service levels. The team facilitate key business strategies to handle core business processes and lead cross operations initiatives while ensuring operational effectiveness. Job Requirements

  • High School diploma with over 5 years of relevant experience
  • Be able to derive insights from data and create an action plan to meet key performance indicators.
  • Capable of generating data to support business decisions.
  • Previous experience in programming is preferred (Python, VBA, HTML, etc.).
  • Previous experience in leading projects that changed the way people work.
  • Undergraduate degree/ college diploma preferred
  • Deep process management knowledge and understanding of the business unit and operational functions for the business area supported
  • Strong communications skills with ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Sound leadership skills with excellent verbal and written communications to maintain positive work relations with key partners
  • Strong judgmental skills to apply discretion when working with confidential information

Job Details

Are you ready to provide day-to-day team leadership and work direction to ensure effective and efficient operations, delivery of the most complex services and solutions in accordance with established service levels, quality standards, compliance and regulatory guidelines? If so, then the position of Team Manager II, Wealth Ops would be the right fit for you. In this top-level team leader role, you will:
  • Deliver legendary customer service by building and maintaining positive working relationships with internal partners
  • Coach the bigger teams to ensure operations, performance and productions issues are handled appropriately, recommend improvements
  • Participate in the negotiation and resolution of significant issues and refer complex issues / situations that are beyond own level of expertise
  • Ensure adherence to operating standards and processes - perform quality checks and validation of team members\' work
  • Review and update procedures ensuring all functions and systems are well documented; plan, organize and oversee the activities of high complexity
  • Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels and implement continuous process and performance improvements where opportunities exists
  • Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures and keep tabs on emerging trends to monitor departmental workflows, prioritize tasks and delegate duties
  • Lead and support a high performing team; provide ongoing feedback and performance reviews, coach and develop employees and ensure performance management activities are undertaken and completed for all employees
  • Partake in the recruitment process as per human resources policies and procedures to ensure a highly qualified, diverse workforce
  • Promote a fair, equitable and positive work environment and motivate the team to achieve common goals and objectives
