GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:



The Coating Team Leader is a self-driven, results-oriented individual with a clear focus on high-quality work and the ability to multitask while verifying the quality and accuracy of all coatings. Team player with the ability to communicate well with other staff members to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment. Follow all safety procedures, understand all safety equipment and adhere to the company policies.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Inspection of test samples and coating production to ensure quality standards are being met. Make strong decisions based on color appearance and color metric readings. Provide feedback and instructions to staff in order to meet safety, quality, and production targets. Monitor daily production and make decisions based on current abilities, outputs, and requirements. Communicate with supervisors and staff any concerns and improvements, including daily huddles. Able to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting and communicate any issues effectively. Effectively follow up and help evaluate staff. Perform other department duties/positions as required.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:



High School Diploma or Level 12 G.E.D. Minimum 1 to 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

SHIFT:

Nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 pm to 7:00 am
