Toyota Tsusho Canada, Inc. (TTCI) located in Woodstock, ON is expanding and looking to fill the position of Team Leader, Operations to join our team.

This position would be responsible for the following (non-inclusive) duties:

Ensure that employees adhere to all health and safety regulations Oversee a team of warehouse employees, including delegation, training, and performance evaluation Analyze departmental operations and identify areas requiring improvement Enforce corporate policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment including the use of proper safety equipment Operate lifting devices such as counterbalance electric lift trucks and pump trucks Assist management with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse operations department Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable law Provide on-going, hands-on training for team members Provide performance-based feedback to team members Address team member and customer complaints and resolve problems Assist management with tracking team members' time and attendance Perform order assembly and repack duties All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:



Willing to learn and apply Toyota Production System principles Proven experience in a leadership-like role, or a minimum of two years working in a warehouse environment Able to lift to 25 lbs Strong experience using Microsoft office applications The ability to work rotating shifts (days and afternoons) Able to present information in small group settings Posses strong interpersonal and team-building skills Forklift certified or willing to learn Support daily overtime based on business conditions
