  • Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative\xe2\x80\x99s vison, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
  • Manage all daily Construction activities on the building site with a focus on safety, workmanship, and production
  • Working with the Site Team Leader to Build and Maintain the construction schedule
  • Effectively communicate with design team and potential clients
  • Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors, in order to maintain the timeline of the project
  • Managing Contractor orientations enforcing safety procedures and onsite housekeeping standards
  • Ensure that subcontractors are performing duties as outlined by each individual contract
  • Accurately interpret drawings and specifications, providing guidance to sub-trades
  • Organize and plan daily, weekly, and monthly construction activities on the construction site
  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans. while organizing required manpower and other required resource.
  • Supervise and train workers
  • Monitor expenditure and ensure projects remain within budget
  • Report on progress to the Site Team Leader
  • Implement corrective action where necessary to catch up and meet key milestone dates
  • Identify, address, and resolve issues and problems as or before they occur
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with client, consultants, suppliers, and trades

Who you are: You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and Customer Service:
  • You have a grade 12- and 3-years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in building materials sales; customer service experience especially in the CRS considered an asset
  • You have experience and knowledge in building materials industry; estimating and construction experience, trends and codes
  • You\xe2\x80\x99re well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
  • You\xe2\x80\x99re honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated, and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
  • You\xe2\x80\x99re attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
  • You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
  • You have a flexible work schedule, evenings, weekends and holidays when appropriate
