Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and organized

Team Leader

to join our team. This position plays a key role in overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality care for program participants. The Team Leader will foster a supportive environment that encourages growth, learning, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and mentor front-line staff, volunteers, and practicum students. Work with clients as needed. Coordinate daily programs and ensure smooth operation of activities and outings. Support staff in implementing individualized support plans (ISPs) and meeting quality-of-life goals for clients. Ensure compliance with PDD directives, safety protocols, and agency policies. Serve as a liaison with guardians, external partners, and community agencies. Assist with scheduling, ratios, and daily program logistics. Contribute to training initiatives and staff development.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Disability Studies, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 2 years of experience in leadership or supervisory roles in the disability services field. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Be able to adapt when situations change. Current First Aid/CPR, police clearance, and vulnerable sector check required (or willingness to obtain). Class 4 driver's license or being able to obtain it within 3 months. Be familiar with Google Drive, Microsoft and other basic programs.
