Lead our Stitsma Career Centre team in empowering Sk?wx?wu7mesh members to achieve their full potential through meaningful employment and skills development. Your leadership will help bridge education and opportunity while honoring our snew?iyelh (teachings) of lifelong learning and community support.
What You'll Do
------------------
Supervise and mentor a 10+ person team at the Stitsma Career Centre
Oversee daily operations including workflow, communications, and administrative support
Coordinate employment programs, workshops, and community events with cultural sensitivity
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting funding requirements
Analyze and develop programming tailored to Indigenous employment needs
Lead the Summer Student Career Placement program and mentor youth participants
Maintain budgets, reports, and funding documentation with accuracy
Build relationships with government partners and educational institutions
Uphold wenaxws (respect) in all member interactions and team leadership
What We're Looking For
--------------------------
5+ years experience in employment services or career development leadership
Proven ability to supervise teams and manage complex programs
Strong knowledge of Indigenous employment barriers and solutions
Experience with government funding programs and reporting requirements
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Ability to analyze data and develop targeted programming
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Cultural humility and respect for Sk?wx?wu?7mesh values, sovereignty, and self-determination.

Salary:
$ 62,500 - $ 87,500
Candidates are typically offered compensation between the beginning to the midpoint of the range. We are committed to providing a fair and equitable package that reflects the value an individual brings to the organization.
