Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Team Leader

to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role is pivotal in driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The position offers an opportunity to lead a motivated team while contributing to the store's success and growth.

Duties



Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high customer satisfaction standards Coordinate daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and POS transactions Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff members to build a strong team Manage payroll processing, scheduling, and training & development initiatives for staff Oversee pricing strategies, promotional activities, and marketing efforts to maximize sales performance Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for management review Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and store procedures Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, set expectations, and foster a positive work environment

Requirements



Proven experience in supervising or managing retail teams with strong leadership skills Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus Proficiency in merchandising, POS systems, cash handling, and bookkeeping Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience in recruiting, training & development, and performance management Knowledge of sales management, marketing strategies, and store management principles Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and customers Skilled in budgeting, pricing strategies, and inventory control Demonstrated ability to handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing and record keeping Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette Leadership qualities including motivation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Prior experience in retail sales or retail management is highly desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.68-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
