Team Lead (Manager-in-Training)

to help guide daily operations, lead shifts, and grow into future management.

This is a

hands-on leadership role

What You'll Do

Lead shifts and set clear daily priorities while working alongside the team Keep the team focused, on task, and aligned with store standards Provide hands-on, real-time coaching and support on the sales floor Deliver excellent customer service and thoughtful, individualized solutions Support inventory accuracy, merchandising, and overall store presentation Assist with promotions and in-store initiatives Represent Global Pet Foods at local community events and outreach activities Communicate clearly and collaborate regularly with senior management

Proven sales experience in a customer-focused retail environment

Strong communication and time-management skills Genuine interest in pets, pet nutrition, and continuous learning Coachable, curious, and open to feedback Retail experience required (keyholder or lead experience an asset) Interested in developing into a long-term leadership role

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in customer-focused retail Ability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer tools High school diploma or equivalent required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.50-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 43 per week
