Description du poste :
Agir comme recruteur senior specialise en TI et postes techniques tout en jouant un role de leader d'equipe. La personne sera directement impliquee dans le sourcing, l'evaluation et le placement de candidats (80% du temps), tout en assurant le developpement et la coordination d'une petite equipe de recruteurs (20%).
Responsabilites principales
1. Execution en recrutement (? 80%)

  • Definir les besoins et rediger des descriptions de poste precises pour les roles TI et techniques (ingenierie, aerospatial, etc.).
  • Sourcer activement des candidats via ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, references, appels a froid et reseaux professionnels.
  • Mener des entrevues techniques et comportementales, qualifier les competences, verifier les references et gerer le closing des candidats.
  • Maintenir a jour l'ATS (notes, statuts, communication avec l'equipe et les gestionnaires).
  • Representer ITU lors d'evenements de recrutement (conferences, salons, tech talks).
  • Etre un point de contact strategique aupres des gestionnaires pour assurer rapidite, qualite et satisfaction dans le processus d'embauche.
2. Leadership & gestion (? 20%)
  • Encadrer 2-3 recruteurs : suivi des performances, coaching hebdomadaire, partage de bonnes pratiques.
  • Mettre en place des rituels d'equipe (stand-up, pipeline review, retro mensuelle).
  • Fixer et suivre des KPI de recrutement : time-to-fill, submit-to-interview, taux d'acceptation, qualite a 90 jours.
  • Assurer la coherence et l'excellence des processus (sourcing, evaluation, communication) dans l'equipe.
  • Participer a l'amelioration continue des methodes, outils et approches de recrutement.

Job description:
We are looking for a talented Technical Recruiter. This is a permanent position. The work is hybrid and the applicant must live in the Montreal area. Beautiful technologies and nice challenge are waiting for you.
Responsibilities:
Act as a senior recruiter specialized in IT and technical positions while taking on a team leadership role. This person will be directly involved in sourcing, evaluating, and placing candidates (80% of the time), while ensuring the development and coordination of a small team of recruiters (20%).
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment Execution (? 80%)
  • Define hiring needs and create accurate job descriptions for IT and technical roles (engineering, aerospace, etc.).
  • Actively source candidates through ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, referrals, cold calls, and professional networks.
  • Conduct technical and behavioral interviews, qualify skills, perform reference checks, and manage candidate closing.
  • Keep the ATS fully updated (notes, statuses, communication with team members and hiring managers).
  • Represent ITU at recruiting events (conferences, job fairs, tech talks).
  • Act as a strategic point of contact with hiring managers to ensure speed, quality, and satisfaction in the hiring process.
2. Leadership & Team Management (? 20%)
  • Lead a team of 2-3 recruiters: performance tracking, weekly coaching, and best-practice sharing.
  • Establish team routines (stand-ups, pipeline reviews, monthly retros).
  • Define and monitor recruitment KPIs: time-to-fill, submit-to-interview ratio, offer acceptance rate, 90-day quality of hire.
  • Ensure process consistency and excellence in sourcing, evaluation, and communication across the team.
  • Drive continuous improvement of methods, tools, and recruitment approaches.

Requirements

  • 7+ annees d'experience en recrutement TI/technique (en cabinet ou entreprise), avec un historique solide de placements reussis.
  • Experience en leadership ou mentorat de recruteurs (team lead, senior avec coaching, ou manager).
  • Expertise en sourcing avance et evaluation de profils techniques.
  • Maitrise des ATS et des outils modernes de recrutement (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, automatisation/IA).
  • Excellente communication en francais et en anglais, a l'oral comme a l'ecrit.
  • Capacite a travailler dans un environnement rapide, multitaches et oriente resultats.
  • Attitude proactive, sens de l'organisation et aptitude a influencer gestionnaires et candidats.
