We are seeking a self-motivated, highly experienced individual to fulfill the role of Team Lead. This is a meaningful opportunity to support youth ages 12-17 on their healing journey, with a focus on recovery, wellness & cultural reconnection. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment. The Team Lead is accountable to direct, supervise, and review the activities and support staff of the Clear Hills Youth Treatment Centre. The Team Lead supports and analyzes the warriors' treatment requirements, preventions and interventions, resources, service objectives, client progress, and recommendations. Will manage the facility as per required Accreditation standards for the health and safety of the warriors.
Duties
Supervise and manage daily operations, ensuring adherence to CHYTC policies and procedures.
Ensures Indigenous traditions, values, ceremonies, land-based teachings and healing approaches are integrated into each clients treatment plan.
Oversee recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff members.
Provides in-service training for staff, as required.
Supports in the delivery of program objectives and strategies.
Provides direct support to clients in individual and group activities.
Provides individual aid to support clients in transitioning through program delivery.
Develop and execute program plans and services, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Assists in the development of the annual report exclusive to program and service delivery functions and operations.
Qualifications
Degree in the Human Services field, specifically Social Work or Addictions
10 or more years' related experience in working with Human Services field, specifically Social Work or Addictions.
Current (no more than 3 months old) Criminal Record Check and child Welfare Information Check.
Open availability to provide services to Warriors on weekdays, evenings, and weekends to accommodate to needs of Warriors.
Possess a valid driver's license, clear driver's abstract and access to a reliable vehicle.
Ability to work with youth and families from diverse communities.
Experience providing outreach support services through one-on-one support
Experience supervising case management, with exemplary leadership skills and knowledge.
Advanced knowledge of Indigenous wellness practice.
Experience in the public or non-profit sector.
Knowledge of the Accreditation process with the College of Social Workers or other relevant accredited body.
Ability to speak an Indigenous language would be an asset.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
