About the Role:



In addition to supporting a growing organization, our emerging and talented HR team is also in "build mode" - meaning that the successful candidate will have the unique and exciting opportunity to enhance our HR Operations department by further aligning with the Human Resource Service Delivery Model.



Reporting to the Manager, Payroll and HR Operations, the Team Lead, HR Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing the HR Operations team on a daily basis. Key objectives include developing and implementing new processes to support the delivery of Payroll and HR services and ensuring compliance and efficiency within the organization. The payroll and HR Operations Team Lead will also be responsible for overssing the timely processing of payroll and the financial entries of payroll from the AIMS system and will ensure effective delivery of HR's Transactional Services and optimizing HR Operations clients to become more self-serve.



Responsibilities:



Guide, mentor, train, and supervise the HR Operations team to ensure they are knowledgeable, skilled, and motivated to be experts within the HR Team. Serve as the lead for operational compliance in designated areas such as safeguarding employee personal files and immigration. Ensure accurate and consistent delivery of key transactional HR activities, including monthly reporting for managers, issuing employee contracts, maintaining employee personnel files confidentially, onboarding new employees, and processing leaves accurately. Conduct a review of current HR processes and operational services to suggest innovative solutions and identify efficient procedures to implement. Develop key performance indicators, metrics, and service level agreements for core work and transactions to track individual and team performance against objectives. Assist with audits and quality reviews to ensure data accuracy, promote a culture of accuracy, and adhere to policies, procedures, SLAs, and KPIs. Ensure reporting is accurate, to help decision-making at all levels of management and make sure that organizational objectives are met. Provide coverage for members of the HR Operations team as needed. Liase with 3sHealth regarding onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, pay discrepancies, etc. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders such as 3sHealth, and internal teams to ensure that the services offered align with the requirements and expectations of the broader HR team.

Experience & Qualifications:



Post-secondary Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred, or significant professional experience Have 3-5 years of HR Operations experience Experience working within HRIS software Experience working within Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint) Experience with training, supervising, and coaching staff
