What You'll Do

We are looking for a Team Lead, Production to join our Plant Operations team. In this role, you will guide and support production line employees to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. You'll oversee day-to-day production activities, monitor output, and keep work on track with schedules and company standards.

Work Location: On-Site - 40 Centennial Rd, Orangeville, ON L9W 3T3

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily production activities, ensuring output meets company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. Track and report production progress, resolving issues quickly to minimize downtime. Create and adjust schedules, assigning tasks to optimize team productivity and workflow. Coach and support team members through on-the-job training, constructive feedback, and recognition. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment by modeling teamwork, safety, and professionalism. Ensure all policies, procedures, and food safety regulations (including GMPs) are consistently followed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area. Operate and monitor equipment within specifications, promptly reporting issues to the Maintenance Team. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as needed to support the success of the plant.
Responsibilities include other duties assigned by Production & Plant Management.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education or equivalent experience. Proven experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment; leadership experience an asset. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Flexible and dependable -- available for shifts, weekends, and overtime. Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.; able to work in hot, cold, or wet conditions. Dedicated to safety, company policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
