Position Overview As a member of the Maintenance Team, the Team Leader Fixed Plant will report to the Superintendent - Fixed Plant Maintenance and work a two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off rotation at the Ekati mine site. The Team Leader Fixed Plant will lead a group of multiple trades and apprentices and oversee day-to-day maintenance operations for the Process Plant equipment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Promote and demonstrate safe work practices;
  • Provide direction to the team on all Fixed Plant scopes of work.
  • Ability to work in SAP and provide daily work order packages.
  • Proficiency in supervising shutdowns and critical path tasks.
  • Effectively evaluate performance;
  • Accountable for reviewing and analyzing Feedback from the Execution Team;
  • Communicate and ensure adherence to new, modified or existing procedures and assist in development and creation of new procedures
  • Ensures completion of all corrective actions in safety and work packages.
  • Participate in the creation of Equipment Maintenance Strategy;
  • Communicate requirements for master data changes;
  • Manage Performance Testing and Failure Analysis reports for Urgent and Immediate work;
  • Support and review Data Collection and Trend Analysis;
  • Support the post maintenance commissioning process;
  • Communicate Master Material requests to the Planner;
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory authorities; and
  • Work with the Planners to create a weekly Schedule.
Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Interprovincial Journeyperson certified.
  • Minimum of five (5) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency with key office software tools such as MS Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience with SAP.
