Collaborating with the Maintenance Manager, to manage all electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities to ensure safe, environmentally responsible, reliable and efficient planned maintenance.
Minimum Requirements:
Two or more years of proven leadership or supervisory experience within maintenance or operations in a heavy industrial environment
Five or more years in industrial maintenance experience
Electrical journeyperson certificate
Preference is for a valid dual certified Electrician & Instrumentation Journeyperson
A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Responsibilities:
Maintain a visible presence in the field to develop employee engagement, assess work process effectiveness and ensure that a well-adapted approach to safety is present
Ensure the administration of the collective agreement and our personnel policies occurs in a fair and consistent manner
Provide mentorship and ensure development and competency of the crew, set expectations and hold individuals accountable to meet those expectations
Use your knowledge to perform all functions within the SAP computerized maintenance system to accurately detail, approve and assign the work that is performed on shift and ensure compliance with the maintenance and reliability standard and maintenance procedures and processes.
Plan E&I jobs and support planning E&I components of mechanical jobs
Strong interpersonal skills required for good interoffice and terminal communication
Location and other Key Details:
You will work out of our Burrard Products terminal office located at 1155 Glenayre Drive, Port Moody, British Columbia
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
This position is safety sensitive
