Our Sales Team Lead is a key role that takes the lead on coordinating and facilitating our Downtown Sales Team. This individual assist in all sales team responsibilities including guest service, and inter-departmental communication.
YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE
Liaise with other Department Leads, Controllers and Dispatch ensuring strong communication and teamwork to provide consistent guest service and quality tour delivery
Working with the Street Sales Lead, assign positions for the day\xe2\x80\x99s operations for the sales team
Handle guest concerns, difficult situations and complaint management
Assist the day-to-day operations of the sales team
Assist in training and coaching the sales team
Go To power user for sales team\xe2\x80\x99s point of sale (POS) system
Communicate important announcements and company updates to the Sales Team
Plan and implement ongoing sales training, guest experience and product knowledge sessions
Evaluate and coach sales team members, provide feedback and suggestions
Assist the Port Supervisor with administrative duties and port operation activities
Understand and effectively communicate the company\'s products, packages, and promotions
Ensure appropriate coverage during the hours of operation with the sales team
Assist in scheduling and publishing the sales team schedule
Coordinate and set up team building events to cultivate a positive team work culture

You have a keen focus on guest experience
You have the ability to work effectively and competently both independently and in a team setting
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 another bonus is a second language
Prior guest service experience is a must
Prior experience at a sightseeing company is a big bonus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Strong knowledge of Downtown Vancouver and surrounding areas
You possess strong knowledge of downtown Vancouver including key attractions and experiences
You can work a flexible schedule and are available to work early mornings, weekends and holidays
Previous tourism experience or knowledge of the industry is an asset
