These efficient and vigilant creatures aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty to maintain white-glove standards. They are able to prioritize tasks, work independently and in sync with a team to ensure every nook and cranny is sparkling.



They maintain a socially engaging presence will all members while being mindful that the cleanliness of the complex can make or break a members experience. Sweep by sweep, mop by mop, dust by dust they enhance our complex's environment. Not only are they mindful of the overall cleanliness, they do so while being safety conscious.

Education & Expertise

1+ year cleaning experience Certification or workshops relevant to cleaning (WHMIS), maintenance are a definite asset. All successful applicants shall be subject to a criminal background check prior to hire. Overview


Be punctual with schedule and arrive to work ready and on time Educate yourself on recent team communications (memos, emails, etc.) Specific duties will vary depending on the hours hired for. Specific job duties will be given out separately. Repetitive tasks, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling. Ability to lift up to 23KG (50lbs)

Team Lead Duties


Complete audit/count inventory of consumable custodial supplies Track inventory and determine appropriate supply quantity to order (Weekly) Order consumable custodial supplies through various vendors Track and cross reference orders until deliver Ensure all personal protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses etc.) are in place and in proper working condition Ensure all custodial closets are equipped with MSDS binders Ensure all custodial closets are equipped with proper supplies (custodial cart, shampoo, etc.) Ensure all custodial closets are well kept and organized Send communication to custodial dept through Teams Maintain individual cleaning schedules Review White Glove Inspection with Building Operations Manager, dissect and distribute results and action items to custodial team members (Weekly)

White Glove Standard

Altea Active is proud to maintain cleanliness to a white glove standard. This means that special care and attention is given to clean and upkeep the complex. Specific job responsibilities include; Gather all cleaning supplies before starting, including wet floor signs Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors Dry mop and/or sweep the floors (before wet) Wet mop and disinfect entire floor Vacuum all carpeted areas Dust / dry cleaning Remove scraps, dirt, and debris Remove all waste and clean waste containers Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures Clean and replenish all dispensers (soap, toilet paper, paper towel, etc.) Clean, wash and disinfect drinking fountains Clean all sinks and mirrors then clean and disinfect toilets and/or urinals Clean and disinfect the shower stalls using proper procedures Consistently inspect one's own work Clean/tidy janitorial equipment and return items to storage Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner

Team Synergy

Maintain up to date and current on team communication Be ready and prepared to work 10 minutes prior to the start of every shift Attend all departmental meeting and staff meetings

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Work conditions and physical requirements of this position include but are not limited to the following:


Working in a state-of-the-art fitness facility Combination of office setting and interacting with members of the public Moderate noise (music, phones, conversation) Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout shift Ability to interact with team members and members of the public verbally and in writing. Ability to use the telephone, computer, printer, CRM database and any other facility software programs Usually work indoors, but may on occasion complete tasks outside. Work in the presence of members of the public Exposed to hazards, chemicals and contaminants. Use of safety gear to protect yourself.
