Position Summary
As a Team Lead, you'll blend supervisory responsibilities with direct support/service roles. Your pivotal position involves collaborating with the support/service team, acting as a bridge between front-line staff and Team Coordinators. Reporting to the Coordinator, you'll be instrumental in delivering service and program excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach and mentor front line staff to understand and demonstrate knowledge and practice of quality-of-life care
Supporting the implementation of service delivery standards and best practices
Setting goals and identifying growth opportunities for staff, providing necessary training and support
Recruitment, orientation, and training of new team members
Creating and updating daily and weekly staff schedules
Monitoring mandatory training compliance for front-line staff
Utilizing technology to share client successes regularly
Promoting inclusion and accessibility in all activities through various tools and techniques
Collaborating with Programs and Services team to ensure Human Centered Design goals are being met
Overseeing program delivery, addressing daily operational issues and administrative tasks
Identifying and communicating staff development needs, assisting in performance management

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years post-secondary education in Social Services or Disability Studies
2+ years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Proficiency in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and managing risks
