The
Team Lead - Case Management
is responsible for ensuring clients receive wrap-around case management services from pre-arrival to move-out, providing oversight to pre-arrival, health, case management, and administrative services. The incumbent will lead a team of dedicated staff, providing supervision, monitoring, and reporting on key functions. Additionally, the Team Lead will work closely with ANC's Operations team to ensure the availability and access to services, including managing data collection and integrity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide internal oversight of program activities including pre-arrival, reception, case management, health and other services, including coordination and leadership with other teams within the ANC and settlement in the community
Ensure compliance with program and agency policies and procedures
Ensure all documentation is accurately prepared for clients by program staff and submitted on a timely basis
Collaborate with team leads on workload distribution and identify priority case management
Proactively identify program challenges and obtain workable resolution, and escalate issues as appropriate
Ensures that all services provided are properly documented and meet or exceed contract standards & guidelines
Oversee the recording of data and reports regularly ensuring integrity of the data and reporting timelines
Maintain active monitoring and statistics and incorporate in report writing
Identify and leverage promising practices and progressive tools from a wide range of sources and partners to enhance program quality
Develop, maintain, and expand partnerships with relevant ANC teams, services and divisions
Maintains community partnerships and funds solutions-focused approaches to challenge
Identify and recommend potential partners and program growth aligned with the mission of the Association
Remain current within the settlement sector drawing on resources, knowledge, and shifts in service delivery identifying areas for organization improvement
Qualifications and Experience:
Post-secondary degree in human services/social sciences or equivalent combination of training and experience
Experience in leading and coaching teams in a service delivery environment
Effective in data management and analysis
Strong report writing skills (both narrative and statistical)
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (oral and written)
Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity in working with a diverse client group
Ability to develop networks and maintain contacts within the broader community
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
Knowledge of the settlement process and issues facing immigrants and refugees during their integration process an asset
Ability to speak a second language is an asset
Conditions of Employment:
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Flexible to work outside of core hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm)
Position is subject to a satisfactory Criminal Record Screening and Vulnerable Sector Check from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary
