We are currently seeking a

Team Coordinator

to support instructor coordination, scheduling, and internal communications.

About the Role

The Team Coordinator is a part-time, remote position (Must be based in Calgary, AB) focused on communication, scheduling oversight, and team coordination. This role is not a teaching or training position but dance and/or education experience is extremely beneficial to the role. It is well suited to someone who is highly organized, communicative, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Instructor & School Coordination

Primary point of communication with the SoundKreations instructor team Handle substitutions by communicating with schools and instructors when changes are required Review, finalize, and troubleshoot school schedules Ensure schedules are confirmed and delivered to instructors at least one week prior to program start dates Communicate regularly with the Creative Director regarding scheduling, instructor availability, and emerging issues

Content & Resource Management

Manage the internal content library Ensure choreography and music libraries are organized, up to date, and accessible to instructors

Representation & Communications

Represent SoundKreations at teacher conventions or education events when required Provide light social media support, such as posting updates, sharing program highlights

Hours, Availability & Compensation

10-12 hours per week

Annual equivalent:

approximately $15,000-$16,200

Approx.$25-$27/hour to start) Fully remote, work-from-home position

Required Availability

Weekday mornings between

7:00-9:00 a.m.

(must be available/on call) Occasionally available evenings if the rare staffing emergency arises.

Vacation

2 weeks unpaid vacation, aligned with school holidays 2 weeks paid vacation, aligned with school holidays (after first year of employment)

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Comfortable coordinating schedules and responding to time-sensitive changes Reliable, responsive, and able to work independently Experience with basic social media posting or content coordination is an asset Experience working with children, educators, artists, or distributed teams is an asset Experience in dance or the arts is an asset
