Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing curriculum development activities for middle school children
- Support behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Work with individual students \xe2\x80\x93 or smaller groups of students \xe2\x80\x93 who need assistance to absorb the lesson material.
- Help the classroom teacher to maintain a safe and amicable learning for everyone in the class
- Support the teacher in behavior management and keeping pupils on task based on the expectations for individual pupils;
- Support pupils in their social development and their emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate
- Previous experience working in a middle school is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children Job Type: Part-time Salary: From $23.00 per hour Benefits:
