Working under the direction of Margie Brown, the teaching assistant will be responsible for assisting with the completion of duties associated with the delivery of SW 100-002 Remote Delivery via Zoom (sync) course in Winter 2025 term.

Duties include grading assignments, attending zoom classes and monitoring chat and question functions and other duties as needed. Grading should be completed in a timely manner.
Position Requirements
Preference given to a U of R graduate student in social work Strong interpersonal skills Familiarity with social work practice Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Able to participate in remote class (Zoom) as a moderator (Mondays and Wednesdays 4:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.)


Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range $17.13 - $25.41 Status Term Work Hours

This is a position from January to April 2026 for a total of 80 hours.
