Required Number of Hours: 60 hours during the academic term or 10 hours per week

Duties:
In the appointment of Teaching Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be as follows:

• Marking exams, assignments, helping with securing guest speakers, and hosting online office hours to review exam grades.
• Hosting class-based online group activities.
• Support overall course delivery and student engagement.
• You will report directly to your supervisor Dr. Barb Fornssler

Qualifications: (Skills and Abilities)

• PhD-level graduate student

• Previously completed PUB 849 Advanced concepts in harm reduction

• Research experience on substance use related topics

• Community-based engagement experience for harm reduction services and research practice

• Prior experience as TA in the School of Public Health

Applicants without a strong background in substance use harm reduction related research will not be considered.
