INFS 611 Research Principles and Analysis1 position, 180 hours
Duties:Participating in teaching and evaluation (Grading assignments and labs; Researching and reviewing course content; Opportunity to teach a selected topic).
Interacting with students (Responding to students' queries related to the course by email, MyCourses, and Zoom; Holding regular office hours to answer students' questions (1 hour/week)).
Facilitating lecture delivery (Meeting with the course instructor (0.5 hours/week); Attending lectures and reading course materials; Handling logistics for guest speakers; Assisting in in-class activities)
Qualifications:Be open and well versed in different research designs and methods;
Be a McGill graduate student with appropriate academic background
INFS 620 Managing Information Organizations2 positions, 90 hours each
Duties:Interact with students
Respond to students' queries related to the course by email, MyCourses, and Zoom
Provide office hours for students, when requested
Provide support for students working on the case study group project
Participate in teaching and evaluation
Review course content (e.g., recorded lectures, course readings)
Teach a selected topic (in-person or via pre-recorded lecturette) or lead an in-class activity
Manage and evaluate the case study group project
Assist in preparing, facilitating, and evaluating in-class discussions, in-class activities, and associated homework assignments
Assist in handling logistics related to guest speakers
Monitor online class discussions on MyCourses
Qualifications:Ideally registered as a doctoral student at McGill
Graduate degree in information studies or related fields. Candidates with an undergraduate or graduate degree in management related fields will be given preference, along with those that have completed courses related to managing information organizations.
Knowledge of management principles or practical experience in management (e.g., strategic planning, human-capital management, financial and project management, organizational design, change management, etc.)
INFS 682 Network and Endpoint Security1 position, 90 hours
DutiesAssist lecturers to teach an 8-week online course in cybersecurity: INFS 682 (Network and Endpoint Security).
Help students solve technical problems.

Answer students' questions.
Guide students to complete assignments and projects.
