Position Summary:  
Meeting with the course coordinators and technicians once a week to discuss lab set up and protocols prior to each lab. Help to set up labs before students arrive and put away equipment after the lab session. Supervise the students during weekly lab sessions including answering student questions about the lab, how to use lab equipment, work safely, calibrate equipment including microscopes, show students parasite specimens under the microscope. Show students how to interpret laboratory results. Correct lab reports and communicate with students by email or in person to answer questions. Help set up and correct lab exam at end of semester.  
Qualifications:  
Have general knowledge of Immunology & Microbiology and key research methods including PCR, ELISA Western blotting and use of light microscopes. Must have knowledge of parasitology and preferably have previously taken MIMM413.
