Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support classroom teachers and enhance the learning experience for students. This role involves working closely with children of various ages and to foster a positive and inclusive educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong communication skills, and experience working with children. Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in classroom activities Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts Help manage classroom behavior and promote a respectful, inclusive environment Provide additional support to students with special needs Prepare classroom materials and resources as needed Supervise children during activities, transitions, and breaks Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure student success Support the development of foundational skills

Qualifications

Prior classroom experience or experience working with children preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse groups of students and staff Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus Patience, adaptability, and a caring attitude toward student development Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment

This position hours will vary from 3 to 6 hour shifts Monday to Friday.
