Position Summary:

Assist in labs. Must be available to work weekends. Disinfection, cleaning of lab surface & instruments. Proper disposal of lab samples, setting up and cleaning up after animal anatomy labs. Overseeing of "bell tests" as needed. Assistance with Invigilation and possible marking duties.



Qualifications:

Knowledge of animal agriculture in Eastern Canada; working knowledge of French and knowledge of anatomy & physiology.

Teaching Assistants must be available to work the entire contract period. When applying for the position below, please first consult the up to date Fall 2025 McGill class schedule on Minerva to avoid any conflicts.Please note that Teaching Assistants will be required on campus to perform their tasks in person. Should anything prohibit in-person teaching activities, courses will revert to remote teaching. In the event of such a change, Teaching Assistants will be advised as soon as possible. Teaching Assistants may be required to perform tasks suited to a remote/online teaching environment using a virtual learning platform [e.g., Zoom, WebEx] and the McGill myCourses learning management system.
