Job Summary

Scholars of Location is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic part-time English language (and possibly elementary math) Teacher to join our team on a short term contract that can be renewed. As a teacher at Scholars, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students, both personally and academically. We take pride in delivering results that matter to all of our students, and our teachers play a key role in this journey. The successful candidate will be trained on Scholars' teaching methodology. Here's what we're looking for:

Ontario Certified Teacher is preferred Candidates in Teachers College or university designation towards literature, linguistics, humanities, translation, and related fields are also encouraged to apply. Previous experience working with students is an asset. Excellent English oral and written skills. A passion to help students reach their potential. Exceptionally organized and high attention to detail. Ability to teach groups of 2 to 3 students. Must be able to teach the English language up to grade 12, including the following subjects: phonics, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar.
Candidates must be able to work with elementary and high school students for an average of 4 hours per day, within the following schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 3:00 - 8:00 pm Saturdays, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
The contract duration is from November 29 till December 6, 2025.
