S.M.A.R.T. Tutoring and Test Preparation Services is seeking passionate

Teachers to Tutor students in Grade 1-8 Math and Language (Reading and Writing)

. We are expanding our team in Barrie, ON and the surrounding area:

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys while enjoying flexible scheduling. As a Tutor, you will contribute to our mission of fostering student success through individualized instruction that is inline with the current Ontario Curriculum.

Responsibilities

Deliver personalized tutoring sessions tailored to each student's needs. Develop and adapt curriculum materials to enhance learning outcomes. Communicate clearly and schedule time with students and parents. Collaborate with team members to share resources and troubleshoot issues. Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or students. Strong curriculum development and lesson planning skills. Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management skills. Ability to communicate policies and procedures effectively. Experience working with diverse learners including those with special needs. Ontario College of Teachers certification or Transitional certificate are required. Passion for education and student success.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $32.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
