Job Description

We require two permanent Teacher Assistants in both our kindergarten and school age programs. The hours in the kindergarten program on school days are 6:30 ? 8:30/ 1:45- 5:45 and an 8-hour shift throughout the summer (8:45 to 5:45), Monday to Friday. The hours in the school age program on school days are 6:30 ? 8:30/ 1:30- 5:45 and an 8-hour shift throughout the summer (6:30 to 3:30), Monday to Friday. The rate of pay is $17.96 per hour plus $2 an hour wage enhancement (when availarble). An RRSP and life insurance policy are also available. Requirements: ? Current CPR/Standard First Aid ? Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector ? Proof of up to date immunizations (tetanus, etc) ?Letter of Clear health from health care practitioner Recommended: ? Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH Considered an Asset: ? Experience with kinder and school aged children in a licensed childcare centre ? Experience with children with special needs ?
