Certified Teacher, Automotive Service Technician



Term of Employment: August 5, 2025 - June 30, 2026

(1.0 FTE)



(or the day before the Teacher being replaced returns to the position)

Location: Henlow Campus



Monday - Friday, 8:15 am to 3:15 pm





MITT is hiring a term replacement, Certified Teacher for our Automotive Service Technician High School Program from August 5, 2025 to June 30, 2026, or the day before the Teacher being replaced returns to the position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Teaching the curriculum prescribed or approved by the minister. Providing an effective classroom learning environment. Maintaining order and discipline among pupils attending or participating in activities that are sponsored or approved by the school, whether inside or outside the school. Advising pupils as to what is expected of them in school, reviewing their assessments with them, evaluating, and reporting on their progress. Administering and marking any assessment of pupil performance that the minister may direct, in the manner that the minister directs. Ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications and Experience

:

Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate. Red Seal Automotive Technician.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

:

Experience teaching in a blended learning environment. Experience with Brightspace Learning Management System. Experience teaching in high school.

Conditions of Employment:



Legally entitled to work in Canada. Successful completion of a Criminal Record check including vulnerable sector and Child Abuse Registry Check.

Salary as per the Collective Agreement.
