March Academy is a small independent school located in Kanata North serving students from grades 1 to 8. The working environment is ideal with classes of 5-10 students. Our teaching staff are experienced educators who work collegially as a team. We support each other to offer a high-quality educational experience for our students. Various schedules are possible.

Part-Time Position 8:30 - 1:30 p.m. or 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Plan and implement annual plans and daily lesson plans in the curriculum areas of Language and Math for a mixed aged class of no more than 10 students. Differentiate instruction and provide just-right tasks to enhance learning. Maintain open and regular communication with parents as required Afternoon lessons in the areas of The Arts, Science, Social Studies, for mixed aged groupings. Work with small groups and individuals. Supervise students.
Qualifications

Teachers must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
