for flexible, part-time in-person tutoring jobs in Orillia, ON and the surrounding area.

Tutoring Subjects In Demand:

Kindergarten Preparation (Literacy, Numeracy, Classroom Readiness) Grades 1-8: Language (Reading, Writing) Grades 1-8: Mathematics Study Strategies (note-taking, time management, task management) Test Preparation (EQAO, spelling)

As a S.M.A.R.T. Tutor, You Will:

Work 1:1 with students in their homes and local libraries (50-minute sessions) Follow outlined learning objectives for each student Use shared team resources and tools to support your planning Design your own lessons tailored to your students' needs Communicate with families and the admin team Submit progress reports monthly using provided templates

Minimum Availability:

4 hours/week, Mon-Fri between 4:00-8:00 PM

Contract Length:

12 months. We operate year-round including March Break and Summer

Qualifications

Required:

Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification or Transitional Certificate Understanding of the current Ontario Curriculum Vulnerable Sector Check (required upon hire) Reliable transportation & insurance
Preferred:

Additional AQ qualifications or specialization in Spec Ed, Reading, or Mathematics
