Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support classroom teachers and enhance the learning experience for students. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education, especially those with experience working with children and a strong interest in early childhood development. The Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in creating an engaging, and supportive environment for all students. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help children succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment Supervise children during activities, transitions, and breaks to ensure safety Assist with classroom organization, materials preparation, and administrative tasks Foster positive relationships with students to promote engagement and confidence Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff regarding student progress

Qualifications

Prior classroom experience or background in early childhood education preferred Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, teachers, and parents Knowledge of fundamental subjects such as math and literacy is advantageous Compassionate attitude with patience and adaptability in diverse classroom settings Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to student success Relevant certifications or training in early childhood education or related fields are a plus
