Job Requirements

You're a well-rounded person who works well independently and as part of a team. You have a strong desire to learn, grow and succeed. You are working towards undergraduate degree in business. A mix of sales and financial acumen would be beneficial.

  • Started bachelor's degree in commerce/business; relevant sales and/or customer relationship management experience;
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-driven environment; superior business development skills;
  • Possess considerable initiative and ability to develop relationships
  • Demonstrates a commitment to being customer centric by ensuring a legendary service is provided during every customer interaction to maximize retention and growth;
  • Excellent analytical skills and in depth knowledge of financing and accounting

The TD Equipment Finance team is a Center of excellence within Business Banking. Our mandate is to structure equipment financing (leases and loans) for business clients and prospects as an alternative to other conventional bank sources of financing such as term loans.
Applying your skills in a collaborative, team-driven environment, you will assume overall responsibility for business development, credit analysis, developing and implementing marketing support and solicitation programs, as well as various administrative duties.
  • Business development including cold calling, prospecting, and attending industry events
  • Develop and implement direct solicitation and other marketing strategies to attain and surpass objectives
  • Support account executives in the expansion of their client database
  • Prepare and thoroughly analyze credit applications from current and prospective customers
  • Assist with annual credit reviews of current customers
  • Involved in the legal and administrative process necessary for funding transactions
  • Control delinquency and collect past due interest
This is an exciting introductory experience into the interesting and vital world of Equipment Financing. You will learn the fundamentals of Equipment Financing through, risk management, operation management, sale generation, and industry analysis. This role will give you the capability to work closely with a variety of mid -market businesses as they strive to successfully meet their financial goals. Your business skills will put you to the test in creating business proposals based on the Equipment Financing needs of your clients.
