Job Overview
KCC is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Clinic Supervisor to join our team. This role involves supervising students during their clinical practicum in our teaching clinic.
Requirements :
Must hold a valid license to practice [Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese medicine, Doctor of traditional Chinese Medicine] in the Province of BC.
Must be a registered practitioner in good standing with CCHPBC for practical, lab, and jurisprudence courses.
Minimum two years of full-time work experience in a career occupation relevant to the subject matter or clinical practice experience.

Brief Overview of Duties and Responsibilities
Act as a Clinic Supervisor
Record all pertinent information on the Attendance and Professionalism Sheet and in the Supervisors Logbook.
Assess student attire. Ask students to correct dress or behavior where necessary.
Review the health presentation of each client with the student therapist, by assessing the Confidential Client Care Health History Form and initialing each Client Intake Form prior to each student returning to the treatment room to begin a safe and effective massage.
Ensure that students do not leave the building without permission and are suitably engaged if they have a cancellation, no-show ,or empty Booking.
Monitor front desk needs and help to maintain appropriate noise levels in the Student Clinic and to model professionalism.
Remind student therapists and receptionists of opening and end-of-shift checklists.
Remind the front desk to fill out with careful detail, the cash-out sheet at the end of the clinic shift.
After the clinic, conduct a clinic debrief with the students.
