We are a private high school located in Markham, Ontario. Our school offer high school credit courses and supplementary after-school tutoring programs to Grade 9 to 12 students in English, French, Math, Science and Arts. We strive to provide students a positive and encouraging environment at our school. Currently we are seeking full-time and part-time teachers for subjects in English and Social Science.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified French Teacher who is fluent in Mandarin and has a strong understanding of the TEF (Test d'Evaluation de Francais) or TCF (Test de Connaissance du Francais). The ideal candidate will guide students in achieving proficiency in French, particularly for academic, professional, or immigration purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging French lessons focused on TCF/TEF preparation. Develop personalized study plans and practice materials for students at different proficiency levels. Teach all key skills tested in TCF/TEF: listening, reading, writing, speaking, and structure. Track student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Foster a supportive and interactive classroom environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. DELF/DALF certification or equivalent proficiency (C1/C2 level preferred). Proven experience in preparing students for TCF or TEF exams. Familiarity with TEF and/or TCF exam structures and preparation strategies. Teaching experience, preferably with non-native French speakers.
