Responsibilities

Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations promptly and comfortably Greet passengers warmly and assist with boarding, luggage, and seating arrangements as needed Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance Handle cash transactions accurately and provide receipts when necessary Manage schedules efficiently to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, fares, or delays Keep records of trips, fares, and any incidents that occur during shifts

Requirements

Valid Class 4 driver's license with a clean driving record and appropriate commercial driving endorsement if required by local regulations Proven experience in driving, preferably in a commercial or taxi setting Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude Strong time management skills to adhere to schedules and optimize routes Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Good knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns Ability to pass background checks and drug screening as per company policy Must be at least 21 years old or older depending on local licensing requirements
This position is essential for providing dependable transportation services while ensuring passenger safety and satisfaction.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$41.24 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
