Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Taxi Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers throughout the city. As a Taxi Driver, you will navigate various routes, ensure passenger comfort, and maintain the vehicle in excellent condition. This position requires excellent driving skills and a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations in a timely manner. Maintain knowledge of local streets, traffic patterns, and points of interest to optimize routes. Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety. Keep the taxi clean and well-maintained, performing regular checks on the vehicle's condition. Manage cash and electronic payments accurately while providing receipts to passengers. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns professionally. Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage and fares.

Skills

Proven ability to drive safely and efficiently in various traffic conditions. Experience as a Van Driver, Paratransit Driver, or in Commercial Driving is preferred. Familiarity with Limousine or Bus Driving can be advantageous. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is a plus. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with passengers. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations effectively. Excellent navigation skills using GPS devices or maps.

Pay: $22.13-$26.65 per hour
